The Cochrane Public Library is thrilled to welcome Indigenous author and storyteller Judy Everson of Everson Publishing, alongside her daughter, Elle.

This special program is a fantastic opportunity for the homeschool community to engage with Indigenous culture and teachings. Through interactive songs, drumming, and rattles, Judy and Elle will lead participants on a journey that is both educational and inspiring, creating an environment where students can learn and connect with rich traditions.

Water accumulating on the street? 

You may be located near a trap low. Trap lows are a part of the stormwater storage system, allowing water to pool on roads, lanes and in greenspaces.

It may appear that the street is flooding up to and, sometimes, including some of your driveway or lawn. It is not.

If the water does not drain within 24 hours after rainfall, please contact Cochrane Operations at 403-851-2590.
