Welcome to Recipe Rovers at the Cochrane Public Library, a monthly cookbook club for anyone who enjoys cooking, experimenting with new flavours, or sharing conversations about great recipes.

Each month, the group selects a cookbook and participants choose a recipe from it to prepare at home. At the following month’s meeting, members come together to talk about their experiences in the kitchen. They share successes, surprises, substitutions, challenges, helpful tips, and personal adaptations. Whether you are testing a dish for the first time or refining a familiar favourite, this discussion offers a chance to reflect, learn, and connect with other home cooks.

This program is focused on conversation. No food is shared at the meetings and all cooking is done at home. All dietary needs and preferences are welcomed and respected.
