Cochrane Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is excited to relaunch its popular Block Party Trailer program for the 2025 season, helping residents bring neighbours together and build a stronger sense of community.
Available now through October 13, 2025, the trailer is free to book and comes fully stocked with everything needed to host a fun, inclusive neighbourhood gathering. Inside, residents will find tables, chairs, outdoor games, signage, a cooking griddle, invitations, and straightforward instructions to make planning easy.
Designed to support connection and encourage community spirit, the Block Party Trailer removes barriers to event planning and makes it easier for residents to create welcoming, meaningful experiences—right outside their front doors.
“We are so thrilled to bring this program back to the community as it is a great resource for building relationships and fostering strong community connection,” says Kim Krawec, Manager of FCSS. “The Block Party Trailer is a fantastic tool for residents looking to plan their next community event.”
As part of FCSS’s ongoing commitment to cultivating a connected, inclusive Cochrane, the trailer program continues to inspire residents to take the lead in shaping vibrant, supportive neighbourhoods. Booking is now open on a first-come, first-served basis.
