About the event
The Town of Cochrane, in partnership with Kiwanis and Bike Cochrane, is proud to present Bike Safety Week – a community-wide initiative focused on promoting cycling safety and active transportation for youth.
Throughout the week, our dedicated team will visit Elizabeth Barrett, Glenbow, and RancheView Schools to deliver engaging, hands-on lessons covering:
- Strategic route planning
- Essential bike handling techniques
- Professional helmet safety checks
- Smart riding skills for all conditions
These interactive sessions are designed to help students build confidence and develop safe cycling habits that last a lifetime. If you are interested in having your school participate in a Bike safety event next year, please contact Kiwanis at info@cochranekiwanis.com.
