Has a fire inspection been completed?

Commercial/Retail/Industrial and Short Term Rental businesses require a fire inspection ($50+GST fee applies and will be invoiced following inspection). The business licence will not be issued until a fire inspection is passed. 

All businesses serving or handling food, drink or chemicals require a health inspection. Please contact Alberta Health Services at 1-833-476-4743 to ensure you meet their requirements and to schedule your health inspection.

Resident and Non-Resident Event Licence

 

An Event Licence is issued for operating an Event within the Town. 

“Event” means an activity occurring in the Town which is open to and intended to attract the general public, including but not restricted to a festival, public show, exhibition, trade show, or commercial performance 

 

Some types of businesses are exempt from municipal licensing requirements.

I hereby apply for a Town of Cochrane Business Licence, as per Town of Cochrane Bylaw 22/2018. I confirm that the information submitted here, including name, address and category information are correct. I understand that a change to any existing information renders this registration VOID. I agree to provide the Town of Cochrane with written notice of any further changes to this information.

This licence does not authorize or permit me or my business to carry on a business or any pursuit contrary to the provisions of other Town of Cochrane bylaws. Where a person or business is found to be in contravention to any of the provisions of this or any other Municipal Bylaw, Municipal Enforcement officers may temporarily suspend the business until such time as the contravention is rectified.
