Program details
Cochrane has started a new way for local groups or teams to earn some easy cash!
They can sign up for a “Weed Pull for Cash” where they go out with Parks employees and pull weeds for a couple hours and earn $300.
This money will go towards equipment, supplies or other items that the groups need or are fundraising for.
They will target weeds that are noxious, prohibited noxious or invasive, helping to restore natural areas and reduce the amount of pesticides that are a sprayed.
