
(Cochrane, AB) – Canada Day in Cochrane begins early with a traditional pancake breakfast and a variety of activities. Residents are encouraged to dress in red and white and start their Canada Day at The Royal Canadian Legion, Cochrane Branch, which is hosting a free pancake breakfast from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The morning festivities include live music and a flag-raising ceremony at 11:30 a.m., followed by complimentary Canada Day cupcakes. Members of Cochrane Council will distribute small Canadian flags and tattoos while supplies last. This early celebration is a great way for the community to come together and show their national pride.
The celebration continues at Mitford Park starting at 12:00 p.m., featuring a range of family-friendly activities. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment, games, food trucks, beer gardens, and spectacular fireworks display to conclude the day’s events.
