Description
This project includes upgrades to the River Heights pump station to support the growing needs of our community.
Background
The River Heights Reservoir and Pump station services most of the Town area south of the River, and is required to be expanded to ensure the Town can continue to approve developments in the south of Cochrane. Phase 1A, which entails the pump station expansion, is currently in construction phase and it is scheduled to be completed by the end of Q2 2024
General Construction Impacts
- 24-hour operation: A portion of the project requires the 24-hour operation of a generator for approximately 14 days, crews will take proactive measures to minimize any disruptions and contain noise levels as much as possible.
Temporary road closure: Beginning on April 2 until approximately July 31, 2024, a section of River Heights Drive will be temporarily closed to facilitate construction.
