Office of the Child and Youth Advocate (OYCA)
Wednesday, December 15, 2021
The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate (OCYA) represents the rights, interests and viewpoints of young people receiving services under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act, the Protection of Sexually Exploited Children Act; or who are involved with the youth justice system. They stand up for young people so they can be successful in their lives and communities.
Melanie McIntosh with Community Engagement at the OCYA will join us to share more about the mandate and role of the office and how we can access this resource to support the young people and families we support.
