To recognize the essential role that volunteers, municipal volunteers and volunteerism play in building a healthy and vibrant Cochrane and in contributing to making Cochrane a community of choice for present and future generations. To develop systems and processes that support volunteerism by establishing best practices in the management of volunteers and minimizing risk to the organization and to the municipal volunteers.
