In partnership with the Cochrane Humane Society, a few adorable puppies will be joining us in the studio for an afternoon of movement, laughter, connection and lots of spontaneous cuddles. During this lighthearted class, we will move through a simple, gentle yoga flow while the puppies roam freely, play, nap and interact with students. This class is all about joy, presence and embracing the unexpected. No serious yoga experience needed, just a love for puppies and a willingness to smile.

Queer Art Night!

Join us in a dedicated drop-in space for our queer community to gather, create, and simply be. Facilitated by Kim Cota, an art therapy intern from the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute, this session offers a zero-judgment environment to explore creative prompts or work on your own self-directed projects.

Queer Art Night is a space for the queer community to connect through the act of making. It is a low-pressure environment designed to prioritize "process over product," where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're looking for a new creative spark or just a supportive place to sit and work.

The evening is designed to be flexible. A variety of materials and a gentle, accessible art-making prompt are provided to help get your hands moving. However, following the prompt is entirely optional; you are always encouraged to bring your own ongoing work-in-progress or use the studio supplies to follow your own creative lead.

Date: April 22, 2026

Time: 6 - 8 pm

Location: Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery

Price: Free!

Ages: 18+

Basic supplies will be available to explore the creative prompts OR you can bring your own projects:
- Works-in-progress: Any ongoing projects you would like to move forward.
- Specialized tools: Any specific brushes, pens, or materials you prefer to use that are unique to your practice.
- Reference materials: Any specific images or inspiration you are currently working from.
