Cochrane's Community Block Party Trailer is a great way to bring your neighbourhood together, promote relationships and build deep community bonds. 

The Community Block Party Trailer makes it simple and fun for locals to host neighbourhood block parties. It comes complete with everything you need, including invitations, signage, traffic cones, griddle and detailed instructions on how to put on a great party!

Booking Process:

  • A street use permit is required when planning a neighbourhood block party on or in Town of Cochrane roadways or public lands. For more information on how to close a road for your block party contact the Community Event Administrator at events@cochrane.ca
  • Application form submissions are recommended at least three weeks prior to the event. The application form will start the approval process. 
  • Trailer must be picked up and returned to Protective Services Centre parking lot (20 Grande Blvd) by no later than 10am following the day of booking. 
  • Keys must also be returned to the front door drop box at FCSS (#1, 209 – 2nd Ave. W) after the trailer has been dropped.   

Once the Block Part Trailer has been booked and event permit completed, we will reach out to arrange a pickup time and handover the keys.
