Connecting residents with Municipal Enforcement at the SLS Centre

(Cochrane, AB) – Cochrane Protective Services is launching community pop-up events at the SLS Centre as part of their ongoing efforts to enhance interaction between residents and Municipal Enforcement.  These events are an opportunity to promote community engagement and strengthen connections. Listening to residents, and providing the opportunity to educate on local issues, safety programs and services. 

"Residents have the opportunity to engage directly with dedicated Peace Officers during these pop-up events," says Frank Borsos, Manager of Municipal Enforcement. "Whether they seek clarification on local bylaws, report issues, or need procedural guidance, Municipal Enforcement personnel are readily available onsite to offer assistance and support. We are committed to the future of our services, with organizational resiliency being a fundamental community principle. These community pop-ups facilitate direct engagement with community members, allowing us to address concerns and provide necessary assistance." 

The dates and locations for the upcoming community pop-ups at SLS Centre are as follows: 

  • Saturday, May 18 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Jul 13 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Aug 10 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Sep 7 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

Residents are encouraged to join in the lobby at SLS Centre on these dates to connect with Peace Officers and access the necessary support and guidance.
