The successful proponent will demonstrate a strong track record in auditing Canadian municipalities of comparable size. Services will include the annual audit of the Town’s financial statements for the fiscal years 2026 through 2029.

The Town is seeking the services of a qualified consultant to conduct research and analysis, applying a person-centred approach, in the delivery of a Community Housing Needs Assessment. This Assessment will aid the Town in determining the current housing needs of residents and help inform the Town, housing providers, social service providers, developers, community partners and stakeholders, and other levels of government on the supply versus demand and gauge the level of housing insecurity within Cochrane. The Assessment will capture the needs of residents experiencing housing insecurity, which will in turn guide policy, program, and regulatory decision-making as Cochrane continues to plan for increasing growth. The data and analysis will identify and prioritize the immediate needs to achieving greater housing affordability and shelter supports and will be incorporated as part of a future Housing Action and Implementation Plan.
