E-Scooter Pilot Project

Cochrane and company, Bird, partner for the E-scooter Pilot Project

In June 24, 2023, leading environmentally friendly electric transportation company, Bird, hit the streets of Cochrane. With the recent announcement of e-scooter company, Roll, ceasing operations, Cochrane is excited to partner with Bird to carry out the remainder of the pilot project.

Launched in 2021, the shared electronic scooter pilot project serves to support Cochrane's environmental and transportation goals of limiting carbon emissions, reducing traffic congestion and minimizing transportation gaps. The partnership with Bird will help reduce vehicle trips, road congestion and carbon emissions, while providing a reliable and convenient transportation alternative.
